This page explains how to have your Number Workshop account, and the data attached to it, permanently deleted. Number Workshop is published by SparkGrid Games.
1. How to delete your account
Deletion happens inside the app, immediately, with no waiting period:
Open Number Workshop and go to Settings
Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
The screen explains exactly what is removed, then asks you to press and hold a button to confirm
Deletion is permanent and immediate once you confirm it. Your progress, coins, hints and purchased items cannot be restored afterwards, and buying an item again will cost the same as it did the first time. There is no review period and no email to wait for.
This works the same way whether you play as a guest or sign in with Google or Apple — you only need the app installed and open, not a live internet account you remember the password to.
Deleting your account removes the account record and everything attached to it from our database. In full, that is:
Account record — your nickname, the account's creation date, and the Google or Apple account identifier you linked, if any
Player profile — coins, hints, whether ads are removed, the tile skins, board themes and celebration effects you own and have equipped, your in-game settings, and your rewarded-ad allowance for the day
Progress — every campaign level you cleared and the stars you earned on it, your Endless runs and best round, your Daily results, your quest progress, and any puzzle currently in play
Devices — the anonymous device identifiers linked to the account, and when each was last seen
Sessions — all sign-in tokens, which signs the account out everywhere
Purchase records — the product, store and transaction reference for every in-app purchase recorded against the account
Leaderboards — your entries disappear from the Campaign and Endless boards, because those are drawn from the profile that is being deleted
Your Apple sign-in link, if you used one — we also tell Apple to revoke the token that connects your Apple ID to Number Workshop, so the connection is removed on Apple's side too, not only in our database
Nothing is retained in an archived or anonymised form. There is no additional retention period for any of the above.
3. What we keep, and for how long
One thing survives deletion, and only briefly:
Server request logs. Our servers record a line for each request containing a request identifier, the HTTP method, the URL path, the response status, and the internal account id. They do not record your IP address, your nickname, your email, request headers, or the contents of requests. These logs exist to diagnose faults, roll off automatically as our hosting provider rotates them, and are never used to reconstruct a deleted account.
We do not keep a copy of your nickname, progress, purchases or device identifiers after deletion.
4. Data we cannot delete for you
Two kinds of data about your use of the game are held by other companies rather than by us, so a request to us cannot remove them:
Your purchase history at Apple or Google. Payments are processed entirely by the App Store or Google Play, and those stores keep their own record of what you bought for their accounting and refund purposes. Deleting your Number Workshop account does not cancel a purchase, trigger a refund, or erase the store's receipt. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from.
Advertising data held by Google AdMob and its ad partners. Ads in the game are served by Google AdMob, and the ad networks it works with (Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize and AppLovin) can compete to show them. These companies use your device's advertising identifier. That identifier belongs to your device, not to your Number Workshop account, and we cannot reset or delete it. You can reset or delete it yourself in your device settings — on Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, and on iOS by turning off tracking permission for the app under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. If you can no longer open the app
If you have already uninstalled the game, lost the device it was on, or cannot open it for some other reason, you cannot use the in-app flow above. Email sparkgridgames@gmail.com with the subject line Delete my Number Workshop account, and include:
Your in-game nickname, exactly as it appeared at the top of the home screen (for example Player#e497)
Whether you signed in with Google, with Apple, or played as a guest
Send it from the email address attached to the Google or Apple account you signed in with, if you used one — that is how we confirm the request came from you. If you played as a guest and no longer know your nickname, email us anyway and we will help you identify the record. We will reply and ask you to confirm before deleting anything, and action confirmed requests within 30 days, normally much sooner.
